The role and you
In this role you will be using your extensive experience in the ADF; specifically your understanding and practical use of ADF Doctrine (JMAP and SMAP) within a headquarters, to grow a sovereign defence capability that strengthens national defence through the development of future C4I products for the five eyes community.
Reporting to the Director of Production Development, you will be provided with significant exposure to the product development process both from an engineering and project management perspective so you can design, develop, integrate and introduce current (BMS-C2) and future C4I product suites into the ADF. Once established you will be relied on heavily to provide product development guidance and advice internally at all levels of the company as well as training, both formally and as needed, to ensure the successful delivery of C4I product capability to the user community.
In this key role, you can be based in our Eagle Farm or Port Melbourne offices. As a member of a small team, you will also gain regular exposure to Domestic and Global product strategy and shape the requirements for the product line as the global representative for ELSA and the ELSA products. This means that you will be required to travel domestically (monthly) and internationally (quarterly) for workshops and demonstrations.
