Reporting to the Technical Services Manager – Network & Middleware, you will using your extensive technical skills to take calls from customers and provide technical assistance regarding the BMS and related networks and platforms it is running on as well as identifying and rectifying their faults over the phone or escalating them when needed. You will also set up the Lab for the day’s tasks which might include imaging, training development, replicating customer networks for fault finding purposes and troubleshooting. This is also opportunity to work with future products in the Lab using Virtual tools such as Hyper-V and VMware in a sandbox environment.
As a proactive person focused on continuous improvement you will have the ownership and accountability for what you do while being supported in a strong collaborative environment. This position is a great entry point into your career in a corporate defence environment and is open because of an internal promotion.
Having experience with the Battle Management System (BMS) coupled with an ex-Defence or current Defence background would give you a leg up but is not essential as you will be provided with training on the BMS Foundation Course.
